Thank you for your interest in the Three Star Volunteer Fire Department, where we have the honor to protect, rescue, and care for our citizens on a daily basis. Our small department of volunteers provides an incredible array of services and programs, and dedicate thousands of hours each year training, educating the public, responding to emergencies, and performing maintenance.

This website is filled with Fire Prevention and Education programs, helpful resources, information, upcoming IMG 1606

and past events, fire prevention tips, and a place to volunteer if you are interested. We hope you find this information educating and useful, as it is “work in progress,” but more important, we hope you practice these in your day-to-day activities.

The Three Star Volunteer Fire Department will continue to deliver the highest level of service to the community in the most efficient manner with the resources available. The department will maintain, as its highest priority, the safety of both the residents and department members. Our goal is to earn the trust, respect, and confidence of each member of our community through our actions, skills, and the observations of the professional firefighters and medical responders of the Department.

We will do this by continuous education to ourselves and our community. It is our promise to continue to learn newest and most efficient techniques, keep abreast of latest technology, and to exercise the safest and approved procedures in all the service we may provide.  Our Education and Outreach programs are a reflection of our commitment to our community. Your safety and education is our top priority. If you require a specific fire-related safety service not mentioned in our Education and Outreach section, please contact and let us know.

Take a minute to read about all our Education and Outreach programs and see how you can make a difference just by reading “Close the Door” and how to obtain a Free Smoke Detector.  Check out our monthly Fire Prevention & Education planning guide for your 52 week safety and fire prevention tips and exercise these tips for a safer lifestyle, holiday, or outing.  We know you will find it most useful.
